Stop human trafficking in Canada
Human trafficking is the world's fastest growing illegal trade. People are coerced into working in dangerous and exploitative situations, even in Canada.
Many countries protect trafficked people through legislation that recognizes their human rights and supports their voluntary participation in the fight against trafficking. Canada should be proud of its initiatives to prevent and prosecute traffickers, but we are failing to safeguard the people who are most affected.
Urge the Government to protect victims of human trafficking.
